Our purpose
The International Driver's Community was created through the union of several drivers in Miami and Broward. The drivers who founded this community have been in this business since 2014, some others since 2015.
One of the reasons we suggested joining is because we know this business well and know that, under certain regulations, it can be of great benefit to many. It is a job that can be well paid, but we must always understand the costs involved.
The International Driver's Community was created around October 2023. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to meeting, discussing important issues, studying all the current problems we face, the new ones that are constantly emerging, and how we can combat them.
To date, we have made progress in our fight. To mention a few examples:
On February 7, 2024, we met with 14 Uber executives for over an hour.

-
We have contacted every legislative office in Miami.
-
We have contacted Ron DeSantis' office.
-
We have contacted and maintained communication with Miami Mayor Levine Cava's office.
-
We have contacted and maintained communication with the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs.
-
We will be emailing Broward legislators in the coming weeks.
It is essential to understand that the situation with the Rideshare and Delivery business is different in each city and state. For example, in Florida, it is a unique issue. In 2017, Governor Rick Scott signed HB221-2017. This law grants absolute power to companies like Uber and Lyft while leaving drivers completely unprotected.
Our main purpose is to fight with every available tool and exploit all existing or future alternatives. Drivers want change and deserve better treatment. We demand respect for their time, resources, and risks.
CALL TO THE LEGISLATORS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES
WE CALL ALL LEGISLATORS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. YOU HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO LISTEN AND SOLVE THE PROBLEMS THAT BURDEN YOUR TAXPAYERS. MANY OF YOU ARE NOT SHOWING INTEREST IN SUPPORTING.

THEIR TAXPAYERS ARE BEING AGGRESSIVELY ABUSED BY COMPANIES LIKE UBER, LYFT, DOORDASH, SPARK, INSTACART, AMONG OTHERS, THROUGH:

-
PAYING EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS FOR COMMERCIAL INSURANCE
-
COMMERCIAL INSURANCE WITH A $2,500 DEDUCTIBLE
-
DEMAND FOR THEIR SERVICES IS INCREASING, THESE COMPANIES' PROFITS ARE INCREASING, AND DRIVERS ARE EARNING LESS AND LESS.
-
THERE IS NO SECURITY, GUARANTEES, OR LEGAL BACKING FOR DRIVERS.
-
THESE COMPANIES ARE FREE TO DO WHATEVER BEST FOR THEM.
-
THEY USE MANIPULATIVE MECHANISMS AND INTIMIDATION TO SUPPORT COMPANY INTERESTS
-
THEY USE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGY TO MONITOR DRIVERS BASED ON PROFILES THEY CREATE FOR EACH DRIVER
